School Meals
Hot meals are provided at St Martin’s by the catering team Caterlink in conjunction with Brighton & Hove City Council. These 2 course meals cost just £2.60 and ensure that your child has had a warm and nutritious meal. Children can opt for a school lunch or bring in a packed lunch daily.
At the present time children can let their class Teaching Assistant know their meal choice at morning registration. However, school meals are rolling out a new Meal Manager software system whereby parents/carers will choose and pay for their child’s meal from home. Caterlink will NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH. They accept payments online for lunch money using 2 options; 1. Online payments on ParentPay secure system (Ask Mrs Taylor in the school office for account activation details). 2. Making cash payments at your local shop using a PayPoint Card (these cards need to be ordered via the school office. Speak with Mrs Taylor).
Children in KS1 – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal under the governments Universal Infant Free School Meal scheme. If you haven’t already completed the form please ask at the school office.
If you think your child could be entitled to a free school meal then apply online to onlinefreeschoolmeals or telephone the Free School Meal Team at Brighton & Hove City Council on 01273 293497
