Starting in Reception, KS1 & KS2 Transitioning
Welcome to the Next Step in Your Child's Educational Journey!
This page is currently being updated with exciting new content to help guide you through the important transitions from Nursery to Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). We understand that these milestones are significant for both children and their families, and we are here to provide all the support and information you need to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
Starting in Reception
Transitioning to Reception is a big step for your child, marking the beginning of formal education. Our Reception program is designed to build on the foundation laid in Nursery, focusing on fostering a love of learning through play-based and structured activities. We aim to create a nurturing environment where your child feels confident and excited to explore new concepts.
Moving to Key Stage 1 (KS1)
As your child progresses to KS1, they will experience a more structured learning environment that builds on the skills developed in Reception. Our KS1 curriculum is designed to enhance literacy and numeracy skills while promoting critical thinking and creativity. Each child receives the support they need to help them with their individual learning journey.
Transitioning to Key Stage 2 (KS2)
The transition to KS2 marks another important phase in your child's education. In KS2, students are encouraged to develop greater independence and responsibility for their learning. Our experienced teachers provide a balanced curriculum that includes core subjects, as well as opportunities for artistic, physical, and social development.
